Akiko Hori

Akiko Hori is a Japanese composer, pianist, singer, songwriter and producer. She is a talented and experienced performer. She transports audiences across a wide spectrum of different musical genres. Her musical education began at the age of five and the studies of the great classical masters eventually led her to the prestigious Music College in Nagoya, Japan, where Akiko graduated with a degree in piano. Akiko then continued her piano studies in different genres of music. Excellence in musical, keyboard and vocal skills combined with a captivating personality, grace and style have made Akiko a constant attraction for many 5-star hotels in Asia. She has established a successful career performing since 2001 in Japan, Singapore, Macau and Australia. Akiko had been a regular on the exclusive luxury cruise line Princess Cruises as a Guest Entertainer and completed around the world voyage during the contract.
 
Beginning in 2019, after performing live for more than 20 years, Akiko started another adventure, by creating her own studio where she is now focused on composing, producing and performing her own special blend of Japanese Neo-Classical Music. Performed with many exotic instruments of Japan; Koto 20, Shakuhachi, Kabuki, Noh Percussion, Shamisen combined with a Steinway Piano and a full Orchestra range brings listeners a new and unique classical fusion of music styles seldom heard outside of Japan.
