Emanuele Via & Charlie T
Gli Emanuele Via & Charlie T nascono dall’incontro del pianista Emanuele Via (membro degli Eugenio in Via Di Gioia) con il quartetto Charlie T composto dal violinista Matteo Mandurrino, la violoncellista Chiara Di Benedetto, il contrabbassista Fortunato D’Ascola e l’arpista Antonella De Franco. Emanuele compone brani di musica strumentale che il quintetto aveva già presentato dal vivo in un tour di concerti. Grazie ad una forte intesa emotiva con i Charlie T, cresce la voglia di lavorare insieme e nel 2019 nasce l’idea di comporre un album completo pensato appositamente per la nuova formazione e arricchito dagli spunti venuti da ogni componente. Nel novembre 2019 esce il singolo Acero, che ottiene subito un ottimo riscontro in termini di ascolti e viene inserito nella playlist ufficiale di Spotify ‘New Classical Release’. Nel gennaio 2020 pubblicano Ginepro, il secondo singolo, brano accompagnato da un video girato nel bellissimo salone del Circolo dei Lettori di Torino, suonato dal vivo e registrato in presa diretta.
Il 10 aprile 2020 esce Resina, il primo album, composto da otto brani dal forte contenuto emozionale ed espressivo e che ha superato i 600000 ascolti su Spotify. Nell’estate 2020 una serie di date li vedono portare il nuovo album dal vivo con un ottimo riscontro di pubblico. A giugno 2021 collaborano con gli Eugenio in Via di Gioia in un live a Paneveggio (TN) mentre nel maggio 2022 partecipano alla conferenza stampa di presentazione dell’album Amore e Rivoluzione. A maggio 2022 si esibiscono live a Torino per Iren nell’ambito dell’iniziativa Musica Ovunque durante l’Eurovision. A giugno 2022 si esibiscono live a Milano per BAM con la direzione artistica di Saturnino Celani che per l’occasione si è esibito con il gruppo.

Emanuele Via & Charlie T were born from the meeting of the pianist Emanuele Via (member of Eugenio in Via Di Gioia) with the Charlie T quartet composed of the violinist Matteo Mandurrino, the cellist Chiara Di Benedetto, the double bass player Fortunato D’Ascola and the harpist Antonella De Franco. Emanuele composes pieces of instrumental music that the quintet had already presented live on a concert tour. Thanks to a strong emotional understanding with Charlie T, the desire to work together grows and in 2019 the idea of composing a complete album designed specifically for the new lineup and enriched by the ideas coming from each member was born. In November 2019 the single Acero was released, which immediately received excellent feedback in terms of listeners and was included in the official Spotify playlist ‘New Classical Release’. In January 2020 they released Ginepro, the second single, a song accompanied by a video shot in the beautiful hall of the Circolo dei Lettori in Turin, played live and recorded live.
On April 10, 2020, Resina was released, the first album, composed of eight songs with strong emotional and expressive content and which has exceeded 600,000 plays on Spotify. In summer 2020 a series of dates saw them bring the new album live with excellent public response. In June 2021 they collaborated with Eugenio in Via di Gioia in a live show in Paneveggio (TN) while in May 2022 they participated in the press conference to present the album Amore e Revolution. In May 2022 they performed live in Turin for Iren as part of the Musica Ovunque initiative during Eurovision. In June 2022 they performed live in Milan for BAM with the artistic direction of Saturnino Celani who performed with the group for the occasion.
