Francesco Maria Mancarella

Italian composer and pianist, he graduated with full marks at Tito Schipa Conservatory of Lecce in Jazz piano and took a master’s degree in audiovisual industry technologies and composition for film music. He already has several record releases as author, composer, music director and artistic producer. He has invented and patented Tha Painting Piano, for which he has been reviewed on national and international magazines, radios and televisions such as Classic FM, Millionaire, Corriere Innovazione, Corriere della Sera, RadioRai2 (Caterpillar), Tv2000, TeleNorba, Rai 1, Rai 3, Fox etc. He won the MusicUp of MEDIMEX as “Makers of new musical technologies” and the Festivalshow as author of the song “Il Carillon dei compromessi” (“The Carillon of compomises”).

He performed on occasion of The Piano City in Piazza del Duomo in Milan and on the prestigious stages of the Calatafimi Festival, Premio Barocco, Arena di Verona, Noah Festival, Piano Lab and many others. He collaborates with great national and international orchestras such as the “Bulgarian National Symphony Orchestra” (Sofia), the “Orchestra ritmosinfonica italiana (canale5)”, the “Souther East Europe Orchestra”.

In 2019 he received the “Likes it” quality seal for the album “Condivisioni” from the prestigious JazzIt magazine. Within the same recording project, he collaborated with the guitarist Luca Colombo. Since 2017 he performed in different theaters throughout Italy alongside the actor Enrico Lo Verso and together with Ettore Bassi, Michele Mirabella, Sade Mangiaracina, Radiodervish. He opened the concerts of Francesco De Gregori, Paola Turci and Paolo Vallesi. In December 2019 he performed on Rai 1 in prime time in the television program “I Soliti ignoti” hosted by Amadeus.
