Francesco Nigri

Francesco Nigri is an Italian pianist and composer, born in 1983, who also had the honor of participating in a masterclass conducted by Michael Nyman. From this Master, as well as from the other great reference of the genre Ludovico Einaudi, he learned to free himself from the manneristic perfection of classical music and to take the courage to pursue his own contemporary, essential style, to which to give space even outside the scores and to share with those who want to listen to stories made of sound, thoughts, visions and feelings told with the universal alphabet of music.

For years he has been involved in his own music production and for other artists.

He collaborates with the Longanesi publishing house and with the family of the writer Tiziano Terzani, contributing with his music to the promotion of literary works around Italy.

In 2018 he released the album Lifestream (Memory Recordings).

The single “On The Other Side” contained in the album reached the 8th position on the iTunes Classic USA chart, while the album reached the 10th position on the iTunes Classic Italy chart.

In 2019 he collaborated with Alessandro Baricco for the promotion of the book “The Game”, composing an original theme.
